Hi Christian, I will check and open an Oracle SR for this issue. Any pointers where I can start to analyze would help.

Hi Christian, Thank you for the reply. The queries are no longer running in the DB(checked in V$SESSION). We did not make any changes in DB. They only appear in manage sessions. The main thing we noticed here is after we do a restart of OBIS1, the performance significantly improves for our analysis. We want to understand,…

Apologies, My Bad. Its all good, I did not know that we have to add the column in graph prompts section to make the master Detail Link work.

Hi Christian, I will not be confident in changing in any of the JS files myself as I do not hold any experience in it. I was hoping if there is any direct way to update it in files like instanceconfig etc.. wirh an XML tag. This is not priority for us and we wanted to have it is a value add. Since it looks little tricky…

Hi Christian, The documentation is quite useful to change the defaults for analysis and dashboards, however does not mention anything about alternate styling. To modify the alternate styling settings, We will have to change the answerstemplates.xml or the instanceconfig.xml. I am also not aware of the exact Tag which needs…

Thank you for your inputs. Your guidance is extremely useful for all the OBIEE developers.

Hi Gianni, Thank you for the solution. I will ensure not to use deny as mush as possible and will explicitly grant permissions.
-
Hi Christian, Thank you the solution. I can see that BIServiceAdministrator application role permission is denied. I have updated it to Full Control in offline mode in catalog manager. Can I replace the updated shared.atr file in the server. Would it work fine. Or it is better to change permission in online mode.
-
Hi Christian, Thank you for the reply. This is not a migrated instance. We do not have any role by name BIAdministrator in our set up.We only have BIServiceAdministrator. As explained above, the user had permission earlier and now it is not there after permission was denied to another application role.Weblogic user does not…

Hi Gianni, Thank you for the reply. Actually the weblogic user had all permissions until yesterday morning. I had denied permission to shared folders to another application role created by us. But after that even weblogic user permissions to shared folders greyed out. I am not getting any option to revert it back. The…

Hi Christian, Thank you for the reply. I surfed for quite some time but did not find anything related to alternate styling. I do agree we should not go too far with the customizations. I posted this query as all our reports have this green bar styling consistently for all reports. And would like to come by default instead…

Hi Team, Any suggestions for the query posted.

Hi Christian, Noted.. Thank you for your inputs.

Hi Christian, We are on below version:
-
Hi Christian, We get the below error when I click on Edit Link for a report. The user does not have access to the subject area.
-
Hi Christian, I had placed the image, not sure why it did not come The issue is not with the reports placed in dashboard. The suggested option is not based on folder and report security and will apply for all. We want to hide the edit option when we navigate from folders for users.
-
Hi Christian, Thank you for the reply. Edit option always comes even with Open access in permissions of the report. We do not want to show the edit option at all.
-
Hello, Thank you. This should work. I will try the priority option and will update here.

Hello Christian, Even with Single Logical Fact table and 3 LTS. The query generated is still the same, when we dont add any measure from fact 3. Report Criteria: Dim1, Fact1, Dim2 Actual Query: a) Dim1 and Fact1 b) Dim2 and Fact2 Exoected Query by us: a) Dim1 and Fact1 b) Dim2 and Fact3(Implicit Fact Column)

Hello Christian, It does not seem to work for the calendar prompt even after i make the required changes in the localdefinitions.xml file. I will raise an Oracle SR to see if the issue is with my OBIEE version. Thank you for your guidance.
