Permissions should be retained after patching or at least an import/export option given since these settings do not get set for cloning. We have 15 environments we have to continually change after patching.

Appreciate the update and glad to see its already underway. We will have about 20 levels for each dimension but its worth it to be able to use that functionality. We'll have to do some workarounds until its updated both in our EPBCS and OAC environments as we are working towards a soon to be production release. Thanks

new data modeler is a good start but need all of the RPD functionality in web so you don't have to use the horrible admin tool. Then I would extend the new thin modeler to dv projects so you can do things like hierarchies on the fly that cant be done using tool.

hierarchies in general with Essbase are painful without a model. Either creating flexible hierarchies on the fly in prepare or making more options in visuals for expand/collapse with raggedness will make using EPM Cloud and OAC together better.
