How are you setting the filters? Are you pinning the filter ? Have you tried Viz specific filters (located in grammar panel not the top)?

If Lat and Long in data then just pick Map View and place data elements in respective areas on design pallet

This would be helpful if employee leaves. only work around would be to have shared service account that is a native account
