Enabling CC and BCC option to email campaigns for B2B customers would grab more usage of Eloqua platform which sales can collaborate with marketers for better outreach and response.

If enabled, email analysis overview status should also be tracked individually.

Hi, this is often requested but could cause the sender org issues.

There's potential to send a LOT of emails to people in the CC/BCC field, for example a company with 100 sellers may have 20k customers, so assuming the sellers have 200 customers each, copying them in to the CC would mean they get 200 emails in their inbox.

As well as likely annoying the seller, it could put a strain on the email platform.

Profiler/Engage may be a better way for the sellers to understand what their customers are receiving.

    Hi

Is this feature not available in Eloqua??

We are using this on Oracle Responsys to monitor and archive mails sent. This bring great value for our customer service department.

Archive in Profiler is only 120 days, and we need 3 years!

A workaround you could use if you have multiple IP addresses (and thus virtual MTA) is to go to email defaults and set the cc/bcc option for one of them (not the first one).

You can instruct users to select the first virtual MTA for standard non cc/bcc and select a second or third if they want cc/bcc for that specific email.

It's not ideal but I think it can work.
