Eloqua File Tracking

Hi there,
Does anyone know if it is possible to track file downloads of a PDF in Eloqua, that is linked to by no Eloqua assets, but just a web page link on our website?
If I used the tracking URL of the file on our link on the website, I didn't know if there was an easy way to track this?
Thanks in advance, and apologies if this is a daft question! :-)

Hello @Sean.Greentree,
I understand you are asking a question regarding tracking visits to a PDF file hosted in Eloqua. The tracking URL can be placed as a link on a website and will track visitors that access the PDF through the link. This will not be able to track anyone who accesses the PDF by knowing the destination URL.
The tracking URL works by first directing the visitor through your instances app domain in order to track the activity. If this is skipped by the user or blocked by a browser settings the tracking cannot occur.
Other options for tracking PDF access can be found in our Knowledgebase article Eloqua: Tracking: How to track a PDF visit (Eloqua File) from a form submission redirect? (Doc ID 2592010.1) or
Web Tracking: How to Track a File Download when the File Is not Stored in Eloqua (Doc ID 2093718.1)
[EDIT]
To find a document in my Oracle Support knowledgebase, please do the following:
1) Log into My Oracle Support at https://support.oracle.com

@BryanConnelly-Support-Oracle, the mosemp.us.oracle.com links in your comment do not work for me.
