Another Native Reporting (OBI) Question

Has anyone found a decent guide for developing custom reports in Native reporting?  I have a custom talent profile report that includes all of the UDFs we have on our talent profile that I am trying to create with no success.

Can anyone point me in the direction of documentation that can specifically be applied to OBI for Native reporting?  I have the Word plug-in for BI installed and the sample XML files downloaded but I cannot get a report built successfully.

I have engaged suport and it seems that they are still unsure of who/how they plan to support the tool as well.  We are deciding whether to upgrade to 13B or 13C and this is a major deciding factor.
