ACA Period Maintenance

I'm currently working with a large client who has a large number of hourly employees. We have to track the ACA date periods for these employees, which is currently a manual process. I've seen the existing ACA toolkit, which is scheduled to be fully delivered in early 2017. I just wanted to see how other users were maintaining the administrative, measurement, and stability periods. Our population is too large to manage these manually. Also, any visibility into the roadmap for automating this process to recalculate dates...especially if we're also using time and labor and payroll?
