We use both the Share and Finalize functions in Fusion Performance.  Process-wise, managers should first Share the document with their workers.  And then once the performance conversation has occurred between the manager and worker, the manager should Finalize the document.  However, the button itself is the Finalize function, whereas managers have to click on the drop down arrow to get to the Share menu item - which is kind of backwards, and our managers frequently accidentally click the Finalize button instead of the Share menu item under the Finalize button.
