T&L - Calculated time fields on timecard not populating at daily level

Summary

Time card was able to be approved without calculation of time at a daily level

Content

Employee was able to enter time and manager approved but the calculated time on the timecard did not 

calculate at the daily level.  There are time entry totals displayed on the right side of the calculated time section but there are no daily totals. (see attached screenprint)

We have rules in place to not allow the timecard to be approved without being submitted but something in the submission/ calculation process did not happen.  Has anyone else experienced the same?
