On Fusion R12 for Performance Management

We have two requirements for additional logic to be setup on the approval for Performance Documents.  From looking at the available attributes in Manage Approval Transactions for HCM>Approve Performance Document there are very limited options (mostly from DFF's that need to be configured) and none are dynamic values based on requestor role or calculated ratings within individual performance docs.  

Please let me know if someone has experienced this need before and possible solutions or system capability/workarounds.
