Benefits documents of record

Document of records not going for approval when entered through benefitsContent
I have the Documents of Record approval task configured so that benefit documents will go to the Benefits group. When an employee goes to self-service, Personal Information>Manage Documents of record and submits that way, it goes through the correct approval. If the employee goes to Benefits>Documents of Record and loads a document that way, it does not go through the approval route. Is there a separate approval task that needs to be set up in order to go through Benefits?
