Can't edit or delete comments entered in approval notification.

Manager can enter comments in the Performance document approval request but he can't edit or delete

In our process performance document will go to approval of Matrix manager 1st and then goes to Manager's manager. In both the approval request notifications respective managers can enter the comments, however once comments are entered, they can't be edited or deleted.

Here managers didn't approve or reject notification, request is still their queue only.

Is there any way we can enable edit or delete options for comments in the approval notification? If end user enter any incorrect comments there should be way to edit or correct it.
