Capturing number of regular hours and overtime hours

As per my knowledge we use payroll elements time card to capture number of regular hours and the overtime hours of an employee. Identified hours will use as the input values for those elements for further calculations. Suppose there is no any payroll time types in the time card employee In and Out time will be updated in the card using data get from a third party time device. Is there a way to identify the regular hours and Over time hours employee worked?
