Terminations during Open Enrollment

Hi all,
We have terminations during open enrollment and will continue through the end of the year. In order to back out the event it appears the instructions are:
- Reverse Term
- Void OE
- Reinstate Term
- Process Term LE
This can get really complicated/time consuming when a manager terms and their team is moved, especially for a mid-sized company where we cant time it to back out the term events. Has anyone developed a good work around for this?
I realize this also occurs for other life events we get the same error - is there a way to configure to remove or void the future event so that we can term the benefits without reversing the term?
