Storing multiple salary for an employee + calculating salary using point values

I am looking for experience and suggestions related to the setup of a)salary calculations and b)storing salary in multiple currencies

Hi Experts, 

Multiple questions - all experience and assistence welcome ! 

1) Is it possible to store 2 salary rates in the system - the workers local and EURO (local converted to Euro)?   

2) Is there a way for the system to arrive at the final base salary calculation (bold below) ? Can the system automatically calculate salaries with point values and steps.   See example below: 

Salary Step rate S1.1: 126.25  (same step for all countries) 

Point value: 25892.67  (each country has a unique point value)
