Hi everyone,

We have two different WCB rates in AB and are leveraging the Canada Workers Compensation Location Information section of Manage Locations to override the rate on affected employees.

Is anyone else using this option?

After completing a rate change (typically at year end), is it necessary to update the location with the same effective date for WCB to calculate at the new rate?

I have noticed that when I had to make an adhoc rate change for March 1 in the Worker's Compensation screen, the drop down on the Location was still showing the old rate and not the new one.
