Responsive UI - Benefits Life Event Not Showing Self Service

We are trying to implement and test the responsive UI, in 19A but getting 19B this weekend.  On the benefits self service, from the release notes there is suppose to be a countdown for the life events that are active of how much time the employee has.  This works fine if we put an Open life event on a person other than it doesn't say Open Enrollment but it does have the countdown.  But for any other life event that is assigned to the employee, this is not showing up.  Anyone have an idea on what configuration step is required
