Increase a common lookup value length even for other languages

We have a Goal common lookup: HRG_GOAL_MEASUREMENT_LEVEL, which we are using for our custom requirement.

As of now, this common lookup is allowing only 81 characters only, but we would like to increase the length, is there any possibility? also it would even allow more characters while we use the translations for the same filed.

Does anyone come across similar situation, please provide your inputs if any.
