As we go live with absence module we consider two options for the employees' Enrollment dates

Hi,

We are puzzled about two options for uploading historical records, as we want to upload current balances for employees.

One option is to enroll all employees in the current date that we go live. then, upload the past records with the only absence status option available - "Saved". that way past record won't affect current balances. thing is that employees can delete this record - Unwanted behavior. (Maybe disable this option to delete through transaction console?)

Second Option is to enroll all employees from their hire dates. In this option, we will probably need to make adjustments since the definition of the client plans changed over the past three years.
