How to show decimal places in 'average' column calculation?

Summary

Using the 'average' calculation is rounding, and I don't want it to.

Hi everyone,

I am trying to use "Edit Calculations" on a report column to get an average. But because the field is of type Integer, the average is getting rounded to the integer. How can I format the average to show two decimal places? I've looked in documentation/forums and can't find how. Here are some more details:

  1. I have a Custom Field on the incident table. It is of type Integer, and allows values 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5.
  2. I want to find the average of this value across all rows when running incident reports. So I add that column to the report. Then I choose "Edit Calculations" and where it lists the usual calculation options (Total, Minimum, Maximum, etc.) I choose "Average".

Howdy, Stranger!
