Error Upon Attempting to Add a Salary Update

I need help with an error message

I am attempting to add a new salary record to an employee but receive the attached error message.

I checked the end date on the Annual Salary UK element but that is not populated.  I assume this must be a close date on Payroll Relationship for the employee but i cant find any.

Has anyone else encountered this issue and know how to resolve?
