Can a flexfield be added to My Compensation page?

Summary

Client wants to show Monthly as well as annual salary

Content

Client uses Annual Salary Basis and the salary is shown to employee under My Compensation. see attached

They want to also hold and show Monthly Salary.
How to achieve that?

Would it be by defining a flexfield segment and loading and maintaining that information independently?
If so, which flexfield is available on My Compensation and how can you make a segment visible there?
