JAWS Compatibility issues

We're having trouble with JAWS compatibility for some of the HCM areas, using the new UX

We have a few employees in our organisation who use JAWS 2019 screen readers and they are experiencing issues with viewing some of the areas of the system.  They can log into the system and navigate to the performance Management document, but cannot select ratings from pick lists, or update comments fields.  They're also having issues with the Absence Management pages, again with selecting items from pick lists.

Has anyone else experienced any of these issues and if so, is there a way to resolve them?  We believe it may be to do with the programming of the system to interact with the screen reader?
