Override Absence Duration from Create Absence REST API?

Summary

We have a case where the Absence is recorded from third party T&A system through REST API where is we want to pass the Absence Duration through REST API

Below is the case:

T&A System stores the schedules of employees which are hourly schedules.

Fusion system has default schedules of 24 hours to make and is not integrated with T&A for schedules.

Employees request Absence from T&A system which calls Create Absence Record REST API.

Employee Schedule: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (8 hours)

Leave applied in T&A: Start Date: 17-Oct-2020 Start Time: 10:00 AM, End Date: 18-Oct-2020 End Time: 6:00 PM Leave Duration: 16 Hours.
