Is it possible to create an eligibility profile that excludes secondary assignments

Hello everyone,
My organization is currently finishing up our implementation of Performance Management, and one of the issues we ran into is documents that were assigned to secondary assignments. We haven't fully worked out our process for assessments/PDs for secondary assignments, but I was wondering if it was possible to set up an eligibility profile that did not include secondary assignments. It was also potentially need to not include primary assignments on secondary work relationships, if possible. We ended up just creating documents for all assignments but wanted to see if anyone had experiences creating something like that.
