Need to remove the defaulted item in the search tab

Summary

When we navigate to Time Cards -> Search section, the "Pending Approval" item always shows as default in the search tab.

My Team > Show More > Team Time Cards > Show Filters > Saved Searches section highlighted in green > in that drop down we do not want that section to default to "Pending Approval".  Is there a way to remove default item highlighted in green as we would want managers to create and save their own search and not have the system do it by default?
