Managers not able to save Ratings and Comments

Hi All,

 

We have launched "Performance Cycle" with Managers "Item Ratings" and "Item Comments" as Required. With this setting, it was earlier enabling them to save the document and can come back later to complete the ratings. But now, they are not able to save at all unless they complete the ratings and comments, they can not save it. Please confirm if this is expected behavior of the system. Do we have to change the settings to "Optional with Warning" even for "Save and Close" option too if we want managers to able to save the ratings and can come back later
