Fast formula for pro-ration

Hi All,

There is a requirement to create a leave plan ,

1. Where in the accrual year runs from 01 Oct 2020 to 30 Sep 2021.

2. All the eligible employees are entitled to the 40 days of the leave

3. Pro-ration should be based on the employees start date.

4. At the end of the year , any balances needs to be purged

The configuration for the first two points stated have been configured . But I am struggling with the pro-ration based on the employees start date. How can this be achieved ? . I have used the fast formula of type Global absence accrual matrix , but its not working as expected. Please suggest
