Disable Delete button for past dated absences

There is a requirement to disable the delete button on the absences screen if the absence end date > 90 days from sysdate. Is there any setting that would help to achieve this? We did try using page composer but not able to get the format to date calculations of how to subtract the absence end date from sysdate. Any pointers would be helpful.
