Onboarding Eligibility Criteria - Bargaining Unit

Hi,
My client would like to use Bargaining Unit as an eligibility criteria to assign tasks but reading through the implementation guide, Oracle recommends Person and Employment tabs (with an exception to FF).
Have any of you used Bargaining Units, and have you run into issues during and post your implementation?
