What is going to happen when Checklist functionality will decommission?

Description (Required): We have implemented enterprise Onboarding Checklist to manage onboarding for our customer. We have configured Enterprise Onboarding and Step checklist templates with appropriate eligibility profile for automatic allocation of Onboarding Checklists for the new hires.

We are displaying the Assigned Checklists on Journeys pages. What is going to happen when Checklist functionality will decommission? Will the Checklist Template get discontinued if yes, how the reports will get impacted? As of 21D Journey Type Enterprise Onboarding is still not available over Journeys.
