I have a scenario where we want to scrap only the Component Item from the work order.

The Item structure is as follows:

FG Item - Level 0

Component Item - Level 1

Phantom Item - Level 1

Component Item - Level 2 (it is the part of Item structure for Level 1 Phantom Item)

Work Order quantity will be 20

We want to complete Operation transaction for 10 quantity of FG item and then scrap only the Level 2 Component Item for remaining 10 quantity

This is to ensure that the Level 1 Component is not utilized and it available in the Inventory as is.
