Incremental load Accrual plan carryover

Summary: Issue with Absence carryover

we are returning Ceiling Rule,Annual Accrual Limit Rule & Carryover Limit Rule values from fast formula Global Absence Accrual Matrix.

From the fast formula , we are returning Celling = 80 , Adjustment value = ceiling - caryyover .

Plan balance at the end of 31/12/2023 = 56 hours .

when we ran the Accruals for 1/1/2024 expectation is

Carryover = 56

Adjustment = 80-56 = 24

when we verify the accruals , Application calculates Adjustment value as 24

Carryover = 8

Forfeiture = -48

can anyone help me to understand where we are going wrong
