Possible to have different acknowledgement message different Performance document types?

Is it possible to personalize the acknowledegement message according to the type of performance document?

Content (required):

We have enabled a boolean check box for employee sign off in the Employee Acknowledgement task. We would like to have the verbiage accompanying this text box to be personalized according to the Performance Document Type: Mid-Year vs. Year End. Is there any way this can be acheived?
