We have a requirement in Absence Management for Accrual Plans, requesting suggestions on the below scenario.
An employee is enrolled in a front loaded accrual plan named ETO after satisfying the eligibility criteria of being a part time employee. When the same employee on promotion becomes a full time employee loses eligibility to the ETO plan and become eligible and gets enrolled in another front loaded accrual plan named Vacation.
Let’s assume the employee (part time) gets enrolled in ETO as of 1-1-2018 and accrues 40 hours for the calendar period 1-1-2018 to 12-31-2018. However he gets a promotion becomes a full time employee as of 1-1-2019 and gets enrolled in Vacation plan from 1-1-2019. However as of 1-1-2019 ETO plan becomes inactive (since the eligibility criteria is not met) with a balance of 40 hours since the employee has not taken any absence.
