Why does it say for the check-ins scheduled in future, "Discussed" with Manager?

Summary:

When a Check-in is scheduled for a future date, shouldn't it say, "Scheduled for <future date>" instead of

Discussed with <Manager>

<future date>?

When there is a future date why use the word Discussed? Isn't it confusing

Is there a way to change the verbiage to "Scheduled on <future date> and once the check-in is done change it to "Discussed with <Manager> <date> ?
