Time Entry Validation for Dependent Time Card field

Summary:

Hello Experts,

We have added a description LOV in the layout. The description LOV is a dependent field. The values in the LOV gets populated based on the time type that is selected. This is working perfectly fine.

But the issue is a user does not select a value in the description field then the time card throws an error. The value selected in the TimeType may not be part of the Time Types that have description.

Is there a way that this description LOV will appear only when we selected the specific Time Types or it throws an error only if the user selects the time types that has values in the description LOV
