How to recover data by restoring a boot volume backup attached to a new instance

Content (required):

  • I have a boot volume backup with certain important data that I would like to recover.
  • When attempting to restore the boot volume backup, I can choose the boot volume in any of the 3 availability domains (AD-1, AD-2, AD-3).
  • After restoring the boot volume, I must create an instance from it in order to access my data. However, when attempting to restore the instance, it doesn't matter which of the 3 availability domains I choose, as I always receive the same error message (error attached as an image).
