salary currency different from LDG

We have employees in US legal employer ( US LDG) but their salaries are negotiated in non USD currency like CAD and GBP

We need flexibility to enter salaries in GBP and CAD for these employees. even if we make a new salary basis and element that will not help since it wont show up for a US based employee.

If we change preferences and enter salary , these will get stored as USD only in the backend.
