Employees Exceeding allocated Absence Entitlement

Hi all,

Bound to be a very silly question but several of our Absence Plan/Types are set with a maximum number of days and yet employees are still able to select these several times over. As long as they don't exceed the max number of days in one sitting (so to speak) they can then go on to select these multiple times throughout the year.

For example Compassionate leave is set at a maximum number of 5 days. If an employee takes all 5 in week 1 (approved) and then takes another 5 days in week 4 (approved) Oracle accepts this as the max duration has not exceeded the 5 set in the absence type. If they select 6 days then Oracle gives the error message that the 5 days have been exceeded so it seems the Max is only working based on single instances
