Can we consider primary assignment by default to record a absence in case of multiple assignments?

Summary:

Employees have multiple assignments and Allow assignment selection at absence entry option has to enabled at type level to select a specific assignment but is there a option where primary assignment can be considered by default while recording a absence?

If UOM is created in Days primary assignment is considered by default whereas Calendar Days is based on multiple assignment.
