Is it possible to build custom summary on a workforce compensation plan

If anyone has been able to successfully built a completely custom summary section under work force compensation plan?

I do not want the usual budget summary which we have on top. can it be replaced with sum of some fields from plan and build alters if that value goes beyond a treshold
