Read Only setup is not displaying the values on Webclock

Summary:

Hello Experts,

We have a requirement to populate the Default Cost Centre Details based on the Clock In/Travel Start Events of employees’ Webclock .(punches in/out).

• Current Setup

We have configured display properties as Read Only in Layout Components.

When the employee clicks on Clock In on the Webclock the Cost Centre Value is shown as blank.

• Changed for Testing purposes

Changed the display properties as Smart Choice List in Layout Components. 

When an employee clicks on Clock In on the Webclock the Cost Centre Value is shown along with LOV.

Suggest if there is any setup that would help us populate the value in
