Standard Alert notifications not being sent to employee/Manager

Hi experts,

I updated the End-Year performance template setting the Standard Alert days but not flagging the 'Repeat Standard Alert until task completes' this way (see screenshot attached). I also set the task due date as January the 1st, 2024 (that's why I set '20' as the number of standard alert days'. I also run the Send Performance Document Alert Notifications today but I haven't received any notifications (both as an employee/manager).

Could you please explain me why is it working this way? Did I miss something?
