Need to Receive approval email notification past 30 days

Hi,

We have a time limitation of 30 days in oracle for approval notification after which they get purged from BPM.

We are checking on possibility of sending email notifications even after 30 days and setting it as every 10 days probably.

Can anyone confirm, if it would send email notification even after 30 days and that this 30 day limit is not applicable for email notification.
