Effective date of change is always considered as Week 1 for employees with fortnight schedule?

Summary:

Hello OTL and Absence SME,

Please can you confirm, for employees with fortnight schedule that started stay in the middle of the year, is the effective date of the change is always considered as Week 1?

Or does system consider Jan 1 as Week 1?

Asking because what is setup the week of the effective date is always the Week 1, and this would help us identify if an employee is entitled to a Bank Holiday TOIL or not.

What we know is that week of 1 Jan (start of the year) is always the Week 1.
