Checklist for managers

Summary:

We have a requirement when a manager is hired the checklist should get triggered automatically.

Currently, we have a checklist for managers and we have attached the eligibility profile (Working as a Manager) to indicate if the employee has direct reports during hire then the manager checklist should get triggered.

Is there any other way we can trigger the checklist for managers without having the direct reports assigned during the hire.
