Unable to Update Absence Duration After Work Schedule Change?

Not sure if related, but this issue has coincidentally came up after our 24A update. Our absences durations are no longer calculating correctly when a published schedule changes. We have an absence duration conversion formula to calculate the absence duration and while debugging through Evaluate Absences, we see that it is returning our expected results. However the Evaluate Absences did not do anything, as if something else is overriding it? Any ideas?
