Maintenance Customer Asset Creation Issue

We have the below issue:

1. We configured the item as Customer Asset

2. Received the asset into Inventory warehouse via misc transaction

3. Asset got created in miantenance module


Since it is a customer asset, asset creation should happen only when the sales order is shipped and closed and NOT at the time of recieving.


Also we are getting the below error:

“You must set the Enable Asset Tracking attribute to Full Life Cycle because the Enable Asset Maintenance attribute is set to Yes. (EGP-2776099)”


Please let us know what config changes are required
