Nonshipable item getting actual date as order creation date instead of current date.

How to update the current date in the Actual Ship Date box for a Non-Shippable item after manually releasing the Pause on an older sales order date?

After manually releasing the Pause, how to update the current date in actual_ship_date field for an old dated sale order's non-shippable item (or) line. Because if the order has both shippable and non-shippable items, after pause released the shippable item going for Shipping and upon completing the shipping the above date value will be populated and getting invoiced with out any issues. But since the non-shippable item has old date, it is getting stuck in AR interface. One single invoice for both the shippable and non-shippable lines.
